Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday (May 9, 2021) announced that the lockdown in Delhi is being extended till 5 AM May 17.New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced in a press conference on Sunday (May 9, 2021) that the lockdown in the national capital is being extended for seven more days to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

"We used the lockdown period to boost our medical infrastructure and to increase oxygen beds at various locations," Kejriwal added.

Here's a list of the new restrictions imposed in Delhi:

• Metro services will not run in Delhi.
• Now no more than 20 people will be allowed to attend marriages in the national capital. "There will be a complete ban on public ceremonies, banquet halls, hotels, and wedding ceremonies at similar venues during this period." People can only marry at home or court.
